Strange Use Of Time

The island is full of different cultures and beauties that can only be seen from the 1st person's POV. Although, not everything is all copacetic. Today, I almost completely lost my marbles and spent my last transfer on venturing deeper North of the island when I live in the totally opposite direction near the south shore. Usually, exploration isn't a problem, but since I am already looking at having to shell out extra fees for another vaccination shot for school, I probably should have just saved that transfer for the ride home. Instead, what could have been a $2.50 transaction turned into a $21.50 bank account assault. Being who I am, and seeing that the driver was a brotha (or so I thought) himself, I figured I could salvage the thrown-away-one-use-only transfer and just get off at the next stop. My 2 cents didn't even help my situation anymore than it hurt it. Keeping it movin', I dipped off the bus, cashless, without a transfer home... :-|

I just got here last night. Everything seems a bit more mellow and lokey than back home. Even the earth is a different shade. It's reddish brown, like I heard about in Africa. I guess thats just the indigenous  gene tha island has...
